Dr. Cheryll Hardison-Dayton was hired to teach humanities at an HBCU in Florida four years ago. She was a great teacher who loved her students. She had tremendous energy and made a difference with her life. Recently, she had a brain aneurism, slipped into a comma and was put on life support. After being pronounced brain dead, she was removed from life support and passed away. The last time I talked with her, she said she knew she was loved. She will be missed.
